The instructors at the SKDD are a diverse group of Shotokan educators. There is a total of over two hundred years of collective Shotokan karate training among them.

They have trained with many notable Shotokan sensei  and, absorbed valuable lessons from each of them. The SKDD instructors are students too and, they continue to research the art, seeking innovative applications of classical Shotokan.

This depth of knowledge offers our members a wealth of Shotokan experience , from which, to learn.
Their individual teaching styles bring out the best in everyone on the training floor.

They are primarily educators and, all are anxious to pass on the art properly.
